Cultural Programme

The Summit’s cultural programme was focused on two main objectives:

1. To introduce Summit delegates to Chile, the Cultural Programme will have a strong emphasis on Chile's distinct arts and cultural expressions.

2. Display and communicate the theme of the Summit: Creative Times: new models for cultural development. An important part of the artistic programme (performances and exhibitions) will be to address this concept and reflect the interweaving of new technologies with creation, participation and cultural development. Within this context, a range of interdisciplinary visual arts/new media initiatives will be profiled.

The cultural programme was delivered in partnership with a range of major cultural venues, performing arts centres, museums, galleries and festivals in Santiago.
